“Life is a series of events and sensations. Everything else is interpretation. Much is lost in transition - and added in assumption/projection”― Rasheed Ogunlaru
Life is a series of events. Sometimes good sometimes bad. But life goes at its pace and we run to catch up.
Disclaimer: This writing is not to trivialize your pain. It is only to give you another lookout for our life series. This does not take into account serious problems such as heartbreak, the death of someone and severe incidents where you need to take a day out or you need time by yourself.
This blog is to give a different perspective to thinking about minor and unimportant incidents that change our mood and upsets us for minor reasons.
It's okay to not be okay sometimes.
Today I spilt my food and made the perfect Dalgona coffee. A few days ago, I had a very rough day at work but after 2 days, I got a bonus. Now that I am a working adult, I have a broader perspective on life.
Small things don't need to take up a big chunk of our time.
“Life is a series of experiences, each of which makes us bigger, even though it is hard to realize this. For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that the setbacks and griefs which we endure help us in our marching onward.” ― Henry Ford
I'm not going to give you the advice that things are going to be okay because they will be okay. Things do turn out to be ok/ for the best in most scenarios because we learn to accept it or know that it happened and move on from there or we somehow move on.
Sometimes these small errors in the continuity of life are because of our negligence. Since running to the past is not yet a possibility, we can accept it at our best and not repeat the mistake.
The most ups and downs that I have felt in my life are the result of my actions. so I better accept the reactions and carry on. Many times external factors are at play that we are not even aware of or cannot control. The best we can do is acknowledge the factors and leave it as it is if you can do something about it do it.
